BIGWASH Models and Specifications

BIGWASH is a hull cleaning machine that floats in the water and is fixed to the dockside. There are three sizes available for order.

How it works
____

  1. A gate is lowered and the boat drives in between the beams.
  2. The gate is closed and the boat is moored.
  3. The cleaning is activated with a handheld remote control unit and the rotating brushes automatically align with the hull. The brushes move along the boat all the way to the stern and back, removing marine fouling. The brushes are designed to adjust to bulb keels of up to 45 cm in width. See Further Specifications

A boat 10 meters in length (30 foot) takes less than 15 minutes to clean.

The Frame

The BIGWASH machines consist of a U-shaped frame in marine grade aluminum. 

Brush Unit
____

Along the aluminum frame runs a washing unit consisting of 8 – 10 rotating brushes. The brushes are made from non-abrasive durable polymer. 

Hydraulics
____

All BIGWASH machines are powered by hydraulics. They connect to a 3-phase 400 V and consume approximately 1 kWh per 15 minute wash.

Collection Basin
____

Below the machine is a large basin that collects debris for safe disposal. The gate into the basin opens and closes between wash cycles.


Control Unit
____


BIGWASH is operated with a handheld remote control. With the touch of a button, you can open and close the gate and move the brush unit along the boat hull from the bow to the stern – and back. You can also select rotation direction of the brushes to optimize the cleaning effect.

Meet MINIWASH

Our mobile unit.

MINIWASH Specifications

MINIWASH is a hull cleaning machine attached and fixed to a trailer. It comes in one size only allows for great mobility. 


How it works
____

The MINIWASH trailer is reversed down a launching ramp. The boat is driven onto the trailer, where it is secured by the operator.
The boat motor is turned off.
The boat is winched over the rotating brushes, back and forth 1-2 times depending on the degree of fouling. 

Maximum Boat Size
____

MINIWASH can wash motor boats up to 8 meters in length, 3 meters in width and weighing up to about 2,800 kg.

MINIWASH consists of a boat trailer with two brush units at the rear. The hydraulics are hidden in two stainless steel and lockable drawers at the front of the trolley. The trailer has a winch that is used to pull up the boat on the trailer.
